Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Where and how can I get my student ID?

Where and how can I get my student ID?

All MSH students receive a personalized student ID card with photo, name and matriculation number. The chip card gives you access to our university buildings. In addition, the ID card also serves as a copy card. The student ID must be re-examined every semester. For this you are welcome to contact the staff of the university management.

To create your ID card, send a digital passport photo in JPEG format to: foto(at)medicalschool-hamburg.de.

Your ID card will then be created at the HafenCity Campus and sent by post to the Department of Arts and Change, where you can pick up the ID in Office 1.

At the beginning of each semester, this card will be charged with 20 € of printing credit, but you can also recharge it in Office 1 after consumption.

Furthermore, you will receive in Office 1 the current semester sticker for the back of your ID card to extend its validity.

Where and how do I print or copy?

Where and how do I print or copy?

For printing, the large Konica Minolta printer is always available in the second intermediate space in the office wing. To use this you need your student ID card, which you can hang up on the right side of the page.

Before, you have to load the desired documents on the card. There are two options for this:

  1. You use the online printing platform »EveryonePrint« via the following link and log in with your Trainex access data: 192.168.30.220/login.cfm;
  2. If you are on one of the student PCs, you can, for example, Print directly in Word. Be sure to select either MSH colored DC01 or MSH black/white DC01 as the printer.

IMPORTANT: Please refrain from using USB_Stick! This often leads to problems.

The first time you print, you have to enter the username and password (corresponds to server/PC credentials), for all others it is sufficient to hang up the card, the printer recognizes them automatically.

IMPORTANT: After finishing printing, select the small key (CODE) so that you are logged out and nobody else can print with your print credit. A copy in black and white costs 5 cents, in color 30 cents.

For larger print jobs and color copies we recommend for example the following copy shop: ado kopie & medien GmbH, Rödingsmarkt 14 | 20459 Hamburg

Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm
