The Institute for Subjective Experience and Research (ISER) is affiliated to the Department of Art, Society and Health. It is active in the fields of health promotion and art, perception, sensory research and aesthetics as well as organizational development. Its focus is on the development and establishment of artistic research and thus on alternative approaches to gaining insights. Its work moves between scientific-discursive and aesthetic-sensory approaches to knowledge, which are connected with different sciences. In the institute, members of various scientific disciplines, such as cultural scientists, physicians, educators and sociologists cooperate cooperatively in accordance with the interdisciplinary character of his area of responsibility.
